The classic C&C 36 is another great dual-purpose design from Cuthbertson & Cassian. The fin keel and swept back rudder combine to give stability and control. The C&C 36 is easy to control off the wind, quick on acceleration in light air and responds well to the helm. Below decks the interior arrangement broadens the cabin area. Family cruising can be a real comfort with six-foot plus berths for 6 people, including the V-berth. A drop-leaf table provides dinning space for 6 without obstructing passage through the cabin and it lowers to make up a double berth. The U-shaped port side galley has a refrigerated ice chest, gimbaled 3-burner range, a microwave, SS sink and loads of storage space. The navigation station is also very well laid out. Located on the starboard side of the companionway ladder, it features a large chart table with deep chart storage space. A drawer under the chart table and a sliding door cabinet alongside means plenty of room for instruments and reference books. The completely enclosed head offers a shower, marine toilet, sink and vanity.
